Payload, width and link — the three that matter

Tank volume alone tells you nothing. What decides your hectare count is payload per cycle, the working width you can hold at a usable dose, and how far the aircraft can range from the operator.

On endurance: 6.5 minutes is one battery cycle carrying a full payload — the figure you plan refill logistics around. Empty, the same aircraft flies 16.5 minutes per sortie. Both are per sortie, not daily operating time.

What to ask any supplier: spray width and flow rate together set your real application rate — a wide boom at low flow just means travelling faster than the dose allows. Check both against the dose your agronomist specified.

Why we photograph this: payload is finite, so sortie cycles are short by design. A buyer who plans the refill — water source, bulk chemical, distance from the tender to the block — gets far more hectares per day than one who only compares tank volumes. Read this before you put the JT-80 in a tender.
The FCC grant for the JT-80 platform is held by Heilongjiang Huida Technology Co., Ltd., the manufacturing entity, with Xuzhou Jitian Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. as the export and brand partner for this range. The CE EMF report covers the electromagnetic-field exposure standards above.

Two points buyers raise most often, answered here rather than in a follow-up email. First: the CE RED approval in our documentation covers the JT10–JT60 series and does not extend to the JT-80 — if your tender requires RED, tell us at the enquiry stage so it is handled before the order, not after. Second: drone regulation is market-specific and separate from product certification; the operating rules in your country apply regardless of what the unit carries.

On battery transport documentation: air freight of lithium batteries requires test documentation under UN 38.3 together with a transport-condition report for the specific configuration being shipped. We do not currently hold those documents for this configuration, and we are not going to blur that line — if your shipment is going by air, raise it at the enquiry stage and we will tell you exactly which document is outstanding before you commit.

Certificates and test reports are issued for specific configurations and markets. Anything not listed here is documentation we do not yet hold, and we will say so rather than defer the question.

Endurance is stated per sortie (single battery cycle) at full and empty payload — it is not daily operating time, and not the same figure as the remote controller’s 9-hour endurance. Actual coverage and flight time vary with crop, terrain, wind and application rate. Commercial terms are confirmed on the proforma invoice and contract.

JT-80 — frequently asked

How much ground can one JT-80 cover?
Around 3 hectares per sortie. Real output depends on crop canopy, terrain, wind and your application rate — and on how fast you turn the refill cycle. Tell us your field and target dose and we will help you size the fleet.
Why is the full-load endurance only 6.5 minutes?
Because that is a single battery cycle carrying a full payload — the figure most operators need when planning refill logistics. Empty, the same aircraft flies 16.5 minutes per sortie. Both are per-sortie numbers, not daily operating time. Do not confuse either with the remote controller’s 9-hour endurance, which is a different battery on the ground.
Can it switch between spraying and spreading?
Yes. The 70 L spray tank and 100 L spreading hopper are interchangeable on the same airframe, so one aircraft covers both liquid and granular applications.
What comes with the aircraft besides the drone itself?
The working set includes the RTK base station on its tripod, a generator, spare battery packs and the remote controller — the equipment you need to complete a spraying day, not just the aircraft.
What certifications come with the drone?
FCC approval (DTS + NII) and a CE EMF report are in place for this platform, held in the name of the manufacturing entity, Heilongjiang Huida Technology Co., Ltd. Our CE RED documentation covers the JT10–JT60 series and does not extend to the JT-80 — if your market or tender requires RED, raise it at the enquiry stage. Other market-specific documents are handled case by case.
Can you supply UN 38.3 documentation for air freight?
Air transport of lithium batteries requires UN 38.3 test documentation plus a transport-condition report for the exact configuration being shipped, and we do not currently hold those for this configuration. We say so up front. If your shipment is going by air, raise it at the enquiry stage and we will confirm which document is outstanding.
Do you support multi-drone operations?
Yes. Route planning and coordination support operation of multiple aircraft in the same field, which is how contract spraying teams usually scale up.
Is the operating permit included?
No. Product certification and flight regulation are separate: the certificate the unit carries does not authorise the flight. Operating rules, registration and pilot requirements are set by your own civil aviation authority — we supply the product documentation your application needs, and will tell you plainly which parts are yours to arrange.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ is 1 unit for a trial, with volume pricing for distributors, cooperatives and government programmes. Colour and logo OEM / ODM are available.
